Report: Minnesota Vikings offer Brett Favre more money to play - ESPN
Sources told the Star Tribune that the Vikings have offered to increase Favre's salary to $16 million guaranteed -- $3 million more than he was scheduled to make this season, plus another $4 million in incentives that could potentially pay Favre $20 million total for the 2010 season.
Apparently one of Favre's demands is to sign a deal that would go through the possible lockout season. If he wants a 3-year deal, give it to him! As soon as his streak is over he probably won't start another season anyway.
He will be back. After the whirlwind yesterday, I'm firmly convinced we are in no different spot than we were when yesterday started.
